The last couple of days have been a little slow, I’m still recovering from my Sciatica pain. I have made progress but it’s still there.

I met a young mother and her two daughters in the lobby while they were waiting to check in. They are here from Korea, Gina has brought them here to take swimming lessons.

Gina tells me that she spent 1 quarter in Chicago to learn how to teach english as a second language.

Gina tells me that her daughter’s have no interest in learning how to swim but they are addicted to their phones/games.

I also met a young lady from Finland. She’s here on a study break. She spent a semester in Texas as an exchange student when she was younger and really enjoyed the weather there. She graduated with a food science degree and is working with a subsidary of Pepsi. She enjoys creating recipes for new consumable drinks. She is currently transitioning into the marketing side of the house and is looking forward to her new discipline

Now, lets progress to the more important things in life. Food, I discovered a eat place/stand (not street food) just down the street from me. They serve grilled chicken, Pork and shrimp.

Two sticks of pork was 70 pesos ($1.25 usd).

Next on my plate was something I’ve never had before…Goat! It was cooked as a stew with potatoes, carrots, banana and a couple of other things that I’m not sure about 😮

What could be Next….?

I guess that’s it for today, Hope to see you in a couple of days!
