Before I headed to the Mall I decided to have a little pick me up. Acaia berry Cheese cake and a Lattee. 🙂

After saying good day to the friendly staff (Steff and Noah) I hailed a taxi for the 30 minute ride.

The ride to he mall gave a better picture of how many of the filipino people live. Some live better than this and many live worst than this (Mostly in the province). (Vid)

The mall is quite large. This one had six floors and I can’t even tell the size of the area it occupies. Here you are seeing two levels of the mall.

Lunch consisted of fried pork, some kind of fried thing and rice (of course).

Afterwards I went to the basement to do some grocery shopping. Pricing for some items was outragous. I priced a big jar of JIF Peanut Butter at $16 usd. I like JIF but not that much. This store had a lot of items and a lot of people buying.

It was a good 40 minute ride back to the apartment but still only cost 350 Pesos ($6.50) which is not a bad price. I asked a couple of taxi drivers waiting for a fair and they wanted to charge me 800 pesos ($14.50 usd) for one way. Taxi drivers here don’t have a good reputation, even among other taxi drivers.

See you guys soon,
