Meet the Belmont Breakfast Crew. While this only part of the crew, they all are very nice. The Belmont is a hotel across the street from my apartment so I eat there once or twice a week.
Melky is part of their leadership. She is studying International hospitality and hopes to go to work on a cruise line in the future.
After breakfast I decided it was time for a hair cut. A hair cut and shave was 700 pesos ($14). In the states my barber would take 15 minutes and your done. Here they took their time and did a very good job.
Here is an entrephrenueral spirit which is everywhere. Here a young lady sells peeled and sliced mangoes with salt and some kind of spice while watching her two children. 25 pesos for one, $0.50
My real estate agent stopped by to pick up the rent and invited me to go to a food festival with her and a friend. I had the world famous smoked Lechon (pig). Yes, it was good !
I guess thats it for now. I’m hoping to get a maid to help with cleaning, shopping and cooking. I’m looking forward to going to the fruit market, its getting hot here and I’m losing my appatite so maybe fruits will be good for my.
See you guys soon!
