Hi guys,

Hope all is well with you and yours. Since my last post, I have added several fish to my aquarium. I thought I would show you a couple of images of the fish I’ve added. These are called Trojan Tigers, I purchased them from a breeder outside of Manila, “Discus Haven”. At the time of purchase, they had over 3 thousand discus.

Here you can see how they arrived.

Since they were shipped from Manila, I let them acclimate for a longer time period than usual. Normally, if you buy them locally, you can acclimate then for about 20 minutes. Since these guys were in transit for over 10 hours, I let them acclimate for about an hour.

They seem to have transported well.

This is a rare shot of them out in the open. Usually, they are hiding in and behind the driftwood. These guys are about 3″ tall and can grow as much as 6″ to 8″ tall. I’ll be excited to see how big I can grow them and how they develop their color patterns.

It will take at least another 9 months before they are mature enough to break off into pairs and mate. I’ll be excited to see if I’m able to successfully breed them and raise their fry. Don’t worry, I’ll keep you updated 🙂

Till Then,

Live your best Life!

Wyn
